Barbie breaks the bank!

Made in 1959 the Original No1 Barbie (brunette with zebra swimsuit) went under the hammer today at Christies and sold for £2,880, it was part of a 4,000 lot leggy parade of the dolls auctioned today from a colleciton amassed by Dutch part-time fashion designer Ietje Raebel and the entire stash of Sindy's nemesis expected to collect over £100,000.
