Hi-Tech trains

Hornbycontroller_1                        Model rail enthusiasts will have no problem writing their letters to Santa this year with the launch of this great digital control unit gadget from Hornby. The main idea is that the unit will allow users to control individual rains rather than the track on which they sit,up to 255 of them in fact, enoughb to run a private network in your spare room or shed. In additionn the Digital Command Centre or DOC offersis able to operate accessories such as lights, barriers and turntables to ease the any congestion on your routes. Hornby hopes that the USB PC ceoonection will get users interacting with their website to download additional sounds and features for your locmotive collection. Their are three sets to begin with and also the chance to buy the DOC on its own (£59.99). There's Mixed Goods (SRP £130.00), GWR Western Pullman (SRP £225.00) and the Virgin Trains Pendolino (SRP £160.00) that comes with tilting carriages. Each set comes complete with locomotive and coaches/wagons, a Starter Oval of track plus - depending on the chosen set - additional track pieces making one or two sidings, a TrakMat …and a Hornby Select Digital Control Unit.
