Over at www.readymech.com we've found some ghoulish 3-D characters that are offered free to cut out and keep. Just print out the PDF of the character on thick paper then cut them out, dig around in your drawers for double-sided tape and 15 minutes later, no pressure though, and your creation is complete. Nice offering for this week of frugality ahead of nect weeks London Toy Fair. The example is the printed template, click through for the finished product.
