Seeing as Corgi International Limited has entered into a Licensing agreement on a multi-year deal for a range of Beatles and Yellow Submarine Die Cast Collectables (which means they’ll be producing goodies right up to 2010) we thought we’d give you a sneak preview at the fantastic range put together to celebrate one of the most and some would argue THE MOST successful band in the UK. Iconic Beatles imagery is featured on a range of die cast collectables at different scales. As Corgi produced the original Yellow Submarine die cast in the 1960’s it was only right that they should be the company to revive these mini classics.

Historical artists would be turning in their grave if they saw how easy it is to create your very own ‘statue in an instant’. It’s quite simple really – all you have to do is mix up the powder to a smooth liquid, pour it in the bucket provided, plunge your hand into the goo and leave there for around 7 minutes. Carefully remove your hand – you don’t want that seven minutes of your life to go to waste – and fill the hole with the plaster of paris, wait an hour, peel away the goo and wha-hey you have your very own amazingly detailed sculpture of your hand. Hand positions and gestures are entirely up to you.

Spinmaster are set to launch a skateboard-themed massively multiplayer online game this summer on the back of its Tech Deck fingerboard range. In Tech Deck Live players will be able to customise all aspects of their avatar and ride around a mammoth skatepark. Other interactive elements are set to include competitions, chat, trading of kit, upgrading gear, mini-games and maybe even get picked to join the elite pro skate team.
