Iconic Cube lovers congregate

Kids_rebecca_l Personally I hated the multi-coloured brick yet think that might have to do with my limited attention span. Fans of Rubik's Cube can now hang out at a website devoted to said item and visit forums, discover hitherto unknown facts and find solutions to get your cube back to the state it was before you embarked on your mission to mix it up. The site, rubiks.com - I'm off to bang my head against a brick wall for half and hour instead.

Forget Ordinary Chess – Play the Ultimate Chess Set with Lego

Chess1We’ve got to admit, chess is a bit boring and we never feel the urge to play the dull game with the black and white board. Now, had someone asked us if we wanted to play with this LEGO Castle Giant Chess Set we might have most definitely would have been persuaded. LEGO has transformed all the plastic pieces into static LEGO characters including wizards, witches, skeleton warriors, dwarfs, trolls, the king and queen of course and loads of other characters too. Forget pawns and rooks, we want to see this lot do battle. It’s the ultimate battle of good versus evil with LEGO characters. It’s available HERE for around £140.

Pinky and Perky in CGI revival

Pinkynew_2 The pair of prankster pigs who appeared on-screen from the fifties to the seventies, leaving questionable quality relics from a licensing era thank goodness long passed. Pinky and Perky are to return, in glorious CGI, we hope with their freinds Ambrose Cat, Basil Bloodhound, Bertie Bonkers the baby elephant, Conchita the Cow, Horace Hare and Vera Vixen. Martin Yaffe have the European rights and will produce a series of figurines, playsets and plush toys under the Born to Play brand and will all have interactive features. Trips down memory lane for some and pigs to play with that aren't Peppa for the young un's.

Crazy Golf Kits

Giantcrazy189_2

Forget fancy clubs, garish outfits and those frustrations that follow many a bad swing...the golf that takes place at fancy smanchy clubs doesn't interest us, nor do executive golf putters or electronic machines on which to practice your swing.
