Screature is the latest prehistoric pet to come from the Mattel family and is a considerably more terrifying version of the ever popular 'D rex. Where D Rex blazed the trail for dinosaurs to walk, talk and lumber towards children with cold, dead eyes, Screature adds a healthy dose of raw aggression into the mix. Displaying a jurassic disregard for manners, Screature snaps, roars, uses an infra red sensor to spray 'venom' at his prey and plain refuses to wipe his feet at the front door.Luckily the beast can be tamed, and rather than having to press buttons to feed him pixellated 'food', (yes, Tamagotchi you STAY in the shadows) Screature responds to 'petting' from his master and can eventually be used as a one dino army to guard bedrooms and 'treasures. Beware though, one touch in the wrong place and Screature will lose it, snapping up a frenzy and spraying all in sight - Overall a sensitive soul with a bad temper, best keep him away from the white wine then. £34.99 over at Argos
